HEC has recently announced an exciting new opportunity for students from Balochistan’s districts of Gwadar, Lasbela/Hub, Kech (Turbat), and Awaran. The Higher Education Commission has opened applications for undergraduate scholarships for students from coastal areas of Balochistan. This scholarship is open to all disciplines of the undergraduate degree, and students who have passed Matric, FA FSc, BA, and BSc exams in 2025 are eligible to apply. HEC Medical Seats for Balochistan And FATA 2025
Interested candidates who hold the local domicile of the concerned region can apply for the scholarships by submitting their applications online. Only one scholar from each batch will be financed for LUMS and IBA Karachi, with a total of two scholarships available. The scholarships will be awarded based on merit and district quota basis, as per PC-1.

Eligibility Criteria HEC Undergraduate Scholarship Balochistan
In order to be considered for the HEC Undergraduate Scholarship 2025 for Balochistan Coastal Areas candidates, applicants must secure at least 50% marks in the aptitude test conducted by HEC. The scholarships will be awarded based on merit and district quota. The deadline for submission of applications is 29 May 2025. Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on their aptitude test scores (conducted by HEC) and academic credentials.
