In Pakistan Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) gives the degree to Pharmacy students. At the start of D pharmacy, it was a 4-year program. But in 2004, after the collaboratively of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, its name was changed into Pharm.D and a 5-year program. In Pakistan, Many institutes connect with collaboration with hospitals for providing clinical clerkship during the 4th & 5th Professional year. The first batch of Pharmacy in Pakistan was passed in 2006.
