The U.S. Department of State works together with the American Councils for International Education and local non-profit organizations in different countries to run the Yes Scholarship Program Pakistan every year. Currently, students from 37 different countries take part in it. In Pakistan, the YES program is carried out in partnership with the Society for International Education and iEARN-Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria YES Program 2024-25

• You should be between 15 and 17 years old by August 15, 2024.
• You must be studying in a secondary school in Pakistan, either in the 9th or 10th grade, or ‘O’ Levels. (Note: Only 9th or 10th-grade ‘O’ Level students can apply; 11th graders cannot).
• You need to have scored at least 60% marks in core subjects (English, Mathematics, Sciences) for the last three academic years, with no failing grades. Your overall average should also be at least 60% for the past three years (2020-21, 2022-23 and 2024-25). Make sure your school official signs and stamps copies of your mark sheets.
• If you’ve taken a gap year or repeated a grade, you can’t apply.
• You should be able to speak English, and you need to have earned at least 60% marks in English over the past three years (2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23).
• You must meet the eligibility requirements for a U.S. J-1 visa (U.S. citizens can’t apply).
• You should be a citizen of Pakistan and live there.
• If you have dual nationality, you can’t apply.

How To Apply For Yes Program In Pakistan

To apply for the YES Program 2024, follow these steps:

• Visit the official website and click on the “Apply” button.
• Complete the application online.
• Ensure you have a Parent/Student Agreement signed by your parents, indicating their consent for your participation in YES 2024-25.

STEP 1: Apply
